Roman, thanks for your concern, but I did switch to the LCD's native resolution of 1280x1024 immediately after I connected it. The LCD is a recent acquisition (just a few days old); the rant about 1280x960 vs. 1280x1024 applied to my "old" CRT which will likely become the second head as soon as I get the DVI output to work.
