Thanks, it looks like you have more free time than me lately, you always
beat me to it. ;)

your welcome; my primary workstation has an RV 350 NP (M10) inside, and I refuse to
install anything not the debian way on it

[...]

Thanks again, I wanted to do the same but didn't get around it yet. The
changes I made are a bit less extensive than yours, but the idea is the
same and the patch to the panel sources is definitely welcome.

Your version is easier to read, so it has my vote; I'm wondering if we should not
build our own versions of fgl_glxgears and fglrx_gamma from source, but I didn't
finished to patch the fglrx_gamma sources to compile against the lib/fglrx_gamma
 sources yet.

[...]

Ooops, forgot that. I guess we'll have a -2 soon. ;)

when you release next version, please clean the source package a little too:

 - debian/fglrx-4.3.0-control-qt2
 - new-* and old-* => the source package is geting bigger then necessary because
of them

I'm also attaching 2 small patches for debian/rules, that you might find usefull;

there is a patch on rage3d.org forums that enables the drm module to compile and
load on
a 2.6.9-rc1-mm2 and higher -mm kernels; when I manage to fix the module/rules to
apply it
conditionally, I'll get back with a new patch (before the release I hope).
