I see you are using "ChipID 0x4150" in your configuration. Did you try without? Maybe this is causing your 9600 to be treated as something else incorrectly. If I'm not mistaken, your board's id is "AR" (0x4152), a 9600 PRO, while 0x4150 is "AP", a plain 9600.
Then, does your dmesg output show anything interesting? Like error messages or oopses?
