HIGHMEM64G with fglrx?

Hi,

Has anyone tried running the fglrx drivers with a 2.6.8 or 2.6.9
kernel with CONFIG_HIGHMEM64G set? With 2.6.9 compiled for K7 with
CONFIG_HIGHMEM4G set, everything works fine. But with
CONFIG_HIGHMEM64G and CONFIG_X86_PAE set (which should enable the
use of the NX attribute extension), I get a sig11 from the X server:

Fatal server error:
Caught signal 11. Server aborting

That's the only difference between the two kernels, and the fglrx
modules were compiled the same in both cases. If it matters, I'm
running fglrx 3.9.0-3, but I did check the ATI release notes for all
versions up to 3.14.6 and saw no mention of NX, PAE, or
CONFIG_HIGHMEM, so I didn't bother trying to upgrade fglrx.

Not a big deal, but I noted that one has to enable CONFIG_HIGHMEM64G
in order to use the NX attribute on a 32-bit kernel, and thought
it'd be cool to try. I've got an Athlon 64 but usually run 32-bit
Debian Linux.

Thanks,
Dan
