[Fwd: ati-driver question]

I'm forwarding this question to the list in the hope that someone
(Matthew, for example :) can give a firm answer. I looked at the release
notes as far back as version 3.12 and they don't list the M10 and M11
chips, but I'm sure older release notes did list at least the M10. I
guess the names were changed for marketing reasons?

Dear Flavio Stanchina,
First of all let me express my thanks for your work on the ati-driver
package for debian.
Do you know if the drivers work with M11? As far as I know M11 is pretty
much an upgraded (slightly faster and differently produced M10). I would
have tested this if I had a chance to however, I am considering a laptop
purchase that comes only with M11 gpu and if I can't get the video card
to work in linux then the laptop is pretty much useless to me. I could
use the xfree86 driver but in that case there is no point paying for a
high performace gpu.

Sincerely,
