I've in my kernel CONFIG_FB_VESA=y and in kern.log I 've
Feb 14 21:01:37 localhost kernel: mtrr: no MTRR for f0000000,400000 found
Feb 14 21:01:37 localhost kernel: mtrr: no MTRR for f0400000,200000 found
Feb 14 21:01:37 localhost kernel: mtrr: no MTRR for f0600000,100000 found
Feb 14 21:01:37 localhost kernel: mtrr: no MTRR for f0700000,1000 found
Maybe that's the case ? When I would do # CONFIG_FB is not set or #
CONFIG_FB_VESA is not set , would I be ok with vga=791 ?
