Re: Big Desktop and Default Resolutions

Instead of posting my huge XFree86.0.log, I've posted it to
http://virt.vgmix.com/XFree86.0.log if you want to have a look.

This has "IgnoreEDID" "off", and looks like it's successfully using big
desktop with 1024x768 on each head?

Sorry for the delay in response, I was out of town unexpectedly!

Definitely not successfully, as one of the screens is blank gray, and
unusable as part of the desktop. Any ideas on how to actually make the
desktop extend onto the second monitor? When I set the resolution to 800x600
or below, it all works perfectly. It's just at 1024x768 and above that one
of the screens is blank. I've tried every combination of positioning options
from within fglrxconfig. The reason I assumed that they were using different
resolutions is because the mouse cursor is substantially larger on the
second, blank screen (note that I can't actually move the mouse around on
the second screen, it is partially visible at the leftmost edge if i attempt
to enter the second monitor) and also because of it working fine at 800x600
and 640x480.

Frustrating, because it looks like it should be working, based on the log.
Any insight is greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
-Jake
