I like the "yet" part...

Can we be clued-in as for when Xinerama will be available?

You see, I have 2 monitors at home, one great Sony 21" CRT, and another 
not so great Dell 17" CRT.
Without Xinerama, and with the current feature set, I have no option of 
having 2 different resolutions.
So, I usually have 2 setups that I alternatively use:
   - 2 monitors, but a pretty bad compromise: both running at 
1280x1024, meaning the 21" is under-utilized and the 17" is 
over-utilized (50Hz refresh rate, wich, in the US, is really really 
really (really?) bad if you have any light on in the room)
   - 1 Monitor, the 21", running at a good resolution and refresh rate, 
but I have to turn off the 17" otherwise I get a crappy setup.

Yes, I have the 2 different X servers options, running their own 
resolution, but that is not a big desktop...

So..... "We want Xinerama! We want Xinerama ! We want Xinerama ! We want..."

When? Please?

With the same card "The other OS that should not be named" has no problem.
The "Other manufacturer that should not be named either" has that...
