Hello,
Just a quick check. Did anybody tried out:
[Installing a non-intrusive X.org server on Debian]

Since everything is installed in /usr/local/X11R6.8 how do you do to
install fglrx modules in this directory ?
Thanks
Mathieu
Personally, I uninstalled fglrx for XFree86, manually overrided the X
version in the source package, built a new package, installed and
copied the files from /usr/X11R6/.. to somewhere else and symlinked
to them from /usr/local/X11R6.8/..
What I found more tricky was some symlinks I had to change under
/etc. I still haven't found a premanent dual-boot solution for that.
