Confused about symlink for AMD64

Hi,
First of all, thanks for providing debian packages for the fglrx driver.
I succesfully build and installed the package on 32-bits debian sarge on
a laptop with AMD64 + Radeon ATI 9600 M10.
Now I replaced the 32-bit debian installation with the AMD64
distribution of sarge. And when trying to build the package for 64 bits
I get:
dpkg-shlibdeps: warning: format of libfglrx_gamma.1 not recognized
/usr/bin/ldd: line 1: /lib/ld-linux.so.2: No such file or directory
ldd: /lib/ld-linux.so.2 exited with unknown exit code (127)
dpkg-shlibdeps: failure: ldd on
`debian/fglrx-driver/emul/ia32-linux/usr/X11R6/lib/libGL.so.1.2' gave
error exit status 1
dh_shlibdeps: command returned error code 256
make: *** [binary] Error 1
I suppose I need to create the symlink needed for 64-bits libs as
mentioned on the web-site in the section "Notes for AMD64 users". But I
don't understand from *which* working directory this command should be
run: ln -s lib /usr/X11R6/lib64
I've tried a few places, but to solution.
Could somebody please explain this a little bit more to me?
TIA. Regards,
