My suggestion would be to verify that the libGL is not the default libGL. For the short term, fglrx will continue to require it's own libGL. LIBGL_ALWAYS_INDIRECT may also provide some exxtra information. Another thing to check that the usage count on the kernel module is non-zero. Regards...
