Update -- I just noticed that I get these warnings only with 2.6.10 and
2.6.11 kernels, while 2.6.8 builds fine. My own 2.6.11 kernels are also
fine, but they're vanilla sources from www.kernel.org, so the difference is
obviously in one of the Debian patches.

I'll investigate the issue tomorrow, but if anyone has any suggestion it
would be very welcome. I guess it's something that will bite those using
vanilla kernels eventually, so it needs to be fixed ASAP.
