Dual screen missing pseudo-xinerama?

Hi,
here I am again, with my complex setup, and everything seems to be
working as it should. But it seems that the fglrx does not support
pseudo-xinerama? I use two screens in "big desktop" setting, and it
works fairly nicely. But obviously the window manager has no clue
about the screen boundary, so a few things look rather weird.
The open source ati driver had a pseudo-xinerama function, that would
give the necessary hints to the WM. Can fglrx do that, too? Or is
there a way I can tell KDE anyway?
My setup is: Asrock K8 Combo-Z, Athlon64 Winchester, Radeon 9600,
ubuntu Hoary/amd64, Xorg 6.8.2, fglrx 8.12.10 and a custom made kernel
2.6.11.
If you have any trouble with a similar system, try to upgrade
everything to the latest version. An older kernel or an older fglrx
would not work for me, and XFree86 has a few issues and severe trouble
with dual head.
