List, Michel,
I received this message from a fglrx user. He's reporting success in
using the driver, but he's getting an "out of vmalloc space" error that
I never saw and wasn't able to explain. The only information I could
find on the 'net about that error is this thread from 2001:
http://mail.nl.linux.org/linux-mm/2001-05/msg00114.html
And this from a few days ago:
http://www.ussg.iu.edu/hypermail/linux/kernel/0504.0/0648.html
But none of them is conclusive, and anyway they're not related to fglrx.
As Daniel puts it, "Is this something to worry about?"
I don't think so, as long as everything else seems working fine (I get
this as well every now and then but haven't noticed any noticeable
problems associated with it). He can try increasing the vmalloc space
with the kernel boot parameter to see if it makes a difference.
