Hello all, just writing of my success with the precompiled kernel module and
driver. (yes, I was lazy, but it worked!)
Specs:
Radeon R9250 AGP 4/8X card, 128Mb ram, vga+dvi+tv-out
SiS 661 FX chipset
Debian Sarge, kernel 2.6.8-2-i686
Successfully configured with fglrxconfig in the following modes:
single
clone
laptop
dual head
with a Compaq S700 vga monitor for the primary and 34cm TV for the secondary.
Now for some questions-
In laptop mode, is there any way of binding a key to switch between screens?
(I don't have a laptop, but would like to have the mode's functionality
available)
When using xine in clone mode, the window appears on both screens, but the
video output only comes through the primary screen, the secondary stays dark
inside the window. Can I fix this?
How do I switch the mouse/keyboard between screens in dual head mode?
Can I run two separate instances of X with different XF86Config-4's?
Any links to documentation/manuals would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Francis
