How about something like

libxxf86misc-dev | xlibs-dev (<< 6.8.0), libxxf86vm-dev | xlibs-dev (<<
6.8.0), libxinerama-dev | xlibs-dev (<< 6.8.0)

(or whichever xfree86 package(s) provided those libraries instead of
xlibs-dev)
