I only tried it with kernel 2.6.12.2, never with 2.6.12.3.
I downgraded to kernel 2.6.11.9 now, as with kernel 2.6.12 suspend to ram and 
hibernating was not working, even when I enabled the vbetool.
With 2.6.11.9 this is all working fine.

According to the patches you should not have any more inter_module_get(arg) 
calls, they should all be changed to inter_module_get_request(arg, arg), did 
you replace everything as mentioned?
