i experience that issue with apt-file, so assigning it to apt-file seems  
ok -- if it's wrong, well, there are the maintainers at a  
bug-report-system for, right?


You're right that the maintainer should have reassigned the bug to the
right place, but that doesn't mean you can't do it now that you've
learned where the bug really lies.


if it helps, i sent a mail to mirrors at debian dot org too ... no response of  
course.
