Re: xscreensaver problems on dual monitors

As far as I know this is how it works, xinerama features are not fully
functional in the ATI drivers. I did some reasearch when I first
installed my ATI drivers and found that there was no fix for it, this
was quite a few months ago. I can tell you that I am still getting
the same results with xorg. Maximizing a video to both monitors
should also only disply on a single monitor, at least thats what mine
does.

Hi all,

I've got flavio's fglrx driver working OK under Debian stable, but when
xscreensaver kicks on, the screensaver is only displayed on the primary
monitor!

It's a bit bizarre, because both screens are faded out, once the fade
completes, the right side (secondary monitor) displays the desktop
again! (this is an active display, if something changes in a window on
that display, it is shown while xscreensaver does its thing on the left
monitor)

Has anyone experienced this problem and has a fix for me, or does anyone
have any suggestions? (XFree86 config file attached)
