In fact after issuing

ln -s /usr/X11R6/lib /usr/X11R6/lib64/

now things seem to work, and fglrxinfo has a nice output:

display: :0.0  screen: 0
OpenGL vendor string: ATI Technologies Inc.
OpenGL renderer string: MOBILITY RADEON X700 Generic
OpenGL version string: 1.3.5272 (X4.3.0-8.16.20)

Sorry for my misunderstanding of that point.

I am now just curious to know if the fact to have commented out the
line with int10 module affects in any way the behaviour of x.org.
