compiling problem: amd64

Hi all,
I've got the fglrx drivers/modules functioning fine with my 32bit Etch 
2.6.8-2-386 system running Xorg 6.8. I've also got a 64bit Sid 
2.6.11-9-amd64-k8, also running Xorg and am having problems. Since 
there's no ready made drivers for my config I downloaded
fglrx-installer_8.16.20-1.dsc
fglrx-installer_8.16.20-1.tar.gz
put them in /usr/src and then ran
dpkg-source -x fglrx-installer_8.16.20-1.dsc
which seemed to work with no problem. It created an .rpm and a bunch of 
directories in the /usr/src/fglrx-installer-8.16.20/ folder.
Then I ran dpkg-buildpackage -b -rfakeroot -tc -uc -D which downloaded a 
realplayer-plugin and then started compiling which is where the problem 
is. The output (the bit where it goes wrong) is this:

I guess I'm missing something here. Any help greatly appreciated.
