Running modprobe fglrx gives this

Do I need to remove the libint10.a module? I use this module for the
debian's ati driver that actually works (up to a point no GL
acceleration). If I have to remove it can someone point me to a
howto. m-a doesn't offer removal as an option and googling didn't get
me any answers. Thanks,
You didn't read my first reply to you till the end, I think. Revisit it,
you have to comment out int10 in your xorg.conf file.
int10 worked together with ati's driver up to version 8.14.13, with
8.16.20 it doesn't any longer. The ATI drivers have their own int10
code, though.
