Hi,
I have this card, and it works great with flavio's howto. I am
running debian pure 64, and unfortunately have not yet upgraded to the
newest ATI drivers (Lack of time). Dual monitor setup works on this
card in linux too, there are some bugs with it though as the ATI
drivers do not perform the same as xinerama does. For instance you
can only
Well, I have never used two monitors on my desktop :-P. So i don't have
problems if two monitores are not supported.
I'd just like to know how good it renders under Linux (and most
important, with Flavio's cheats).
OT: How does it render under Windows?
display video on one monitor at a time, when you maximize windows
they fill both monitors, full screen aps such as screen savers will
only fill the main monitor, etc. After a little while using the dual
monitor set up, I got used to it not doing the things that xinerama
did, and it doesn't really bother me much now. Unfortunately I cannot
tell you much about the TV out on this card, as I have not used that
in linux yet.
No problem in that, when I want to use TV/Out I commonly use my
laptop ;-).
Cheers,
Pablo
