Re: ATI official drivers. version 8.16.6

Hi,

I think (well, I know) I forgot to attach.. dunno, this age thing is haunting me.

...errr... what was I sayin'? :)

Anyway, here they are, attached this time.
So what do you think?

Hi,

I also got the same problem (I lost 1400x1050 after I upgraded to 8.16.20) and
would really thank any solution.

I've attached the generated Xorg.0.log.

I didn't receive the attachment, can you please send it to me or
(better) to the list, together with your /etc/X11/xorg.conf?
In my second message to the list, I attached my XFree86.0.log for
both version 8.16.20-1 and 8.18.6-0.1 (Flavio's 8.16.20 installer
with Thorsten Müller patch): the new version seems to automatically guess
available Video Modes, but 1400x1050 resolution doesn't show up in
the list. I am trying to guess how to disable automatic EDID
guessing, but it seems that Option "IgnoreEDID" "true" and/or Option
"NoDDC" don't work.
