Hi Michel,

you are absolutely right. I didn't think about it and didn't
check, but it is true. If the second screen is attached at boot
xv extension works fine with fglrx and xine, vlc, enz. all work. 
Without the secondary monitor at boot time xine, vlc enz crash X.org.

Since I only watch video on the second monitor I am fine, but it
still is something, that should be fixed. With ati/radeon drivers 
from X.org this is not a problem. So it must be a bug in fglrx.
