Re: weird things

I have the same Xorg version (debian testing), fglrx 8.19.10 and a radeon mobility 9700 and I see the regular cube with fgl_glxgears.. In addition today I've installed on an amd64 box with Ubuntu breezy and a radeon 9600 pro and fgl_glxgears works also..

[blue cube]

I'm seeing the blue cube too. The last time I remember running fgl_glxgears
was with 8.16 and I'm quite sure it worked, but didn't run it recently so
I'm not sure if 8.18 had the same problem. Configuration:

Package: xserver-xorg
Version: 6.8.2.dfsg.1-7

fglrxinfo says:
OpenGL vendor string: ATI Technologies Inc.
OpenGL renderer string: RADEON 9200SE DDR Generic
OpenGL version string: 1.3.1017 (X4.3.0-8.19.10)

I'm concern about the unavailable in OpenGL

That's strange. Try with fglrxinfo from a shell.

And in my log there are lots of lines like this:
drmOpenDevice: node name is /dev/dri/card0
drmOpenDevice: open result is 6, (OK)

Not an error, as far as I know. The "OK" means it's... well, OK! ;)
