I don't think Tobias' problems are caused by this; unfortunately, I have no clue as to what the cause could be either.
I have specifically installed the 8.19.10, but have the same problem as with the native ubuntu(8.16...) version. My log looks the same as with Tobias for the drm* part, and "glxinfo gives "libGL error: drmMap of sarea failed"", said in my earlier post. Citing the changelog: "– The latest proprietary driver introduces a resolution for drmMap failures on 64bit NLD9 SP2 and 64bit Ubuntu Breezy distribution, resolving an issue that prevented 3D acceleration." This surely seems to me as being a "drmMap failures" issue. Could there be something else wrong with my installation? Should I post my particular log?
