Report about 8.22.5 installation on amd64

Hello everybody,
I have apparently installed with success version 8.22.5 of ati driver
on my laptop equipped with a AMD Turion 64. Since debian packages of
fglrs for amd64 aren't yet available in amd64 repositories, I have
generated them from the ati installer with the command
"ati-driver-installer-8.22.5-x86_64.run --buildpkg Debian/sid"
an it has worked without problems.
Then I have installed fglrx-driver and fglrx-kernel-src following
Flavio's instructions, and I have built the kernel module using
module-assistant; there have been no problems even if I am using
latest 2.6.15 source from debian.
After modproping the new module and restarting X the only problem I
got was that font size had become smaller even if I haven't changed
the xorg.cong file; but this issue has disappeared after a complete
reboot of my laptop, don't ask me why :)
Now everything seems to work:

OpenGL vendor string: ATI Technologies Inc.
OpenGL renderer string: MOBILITY RADEON X700 Generic
OpenGL version string: 2.0.5642 (8.22.5)
user at aquila:~$ fgl_glxgears
Using GLX_SGIX_pbuffer

3646 frames in 5.0 seconds = 729.200 FPS
3645 frames in 5.0 seconds = 729.000 FPS
3616 frames in 5.0 seconds = 723.200 FPS
3388 frames in 5.0 seconds = 677.600 FPS
3003 frames in 5.0 seconds = 600.600 FPS
3281 frames in 5.0 seconds = 656.200 FPS
3586 frames in 5.0 seconds = 717.200 FPS
Bye.
