Perhaps I founded a part of the answer ?... the 2.6.15.4 kernel is not 
supported by the 8.19.10 ati driver but only by the 8.22.5 ; but I tried 
to build a specific driver version with PVERSION=8.22.5 but it failed...
Do you think I must use an older version of the kernel and witch one is 
newest I can compile ?
Of course if you have a solution for my problem with the 2.6.15.4 
kernel, it will be perfect...
