However, Debian sarge does not really support amd64, so you should probably
install etch. Moreover, amd64 support is currently in a state of flux
because it is being added to the official archive.
I'd suggest to install using this netboot ISO:
http://amd64.debian.net/debian-pure64/dists/etch/main/installer-amd64/current/images/netboot/
(of course this requires that the computer you're installing on has full
internet access during installation)
